Sport and PE Report

District Cross Country

On Friday 14th May, 59 students across Years 3 – 6 competed in the North Balwyn District Cross Country at Macleay Park. Students were selected based on their excellent results in the school cross country at the end of Term 1. All students participated in training sessions held before school on Thursdays in the lead up to the day to improve their fitness.

Boroondara Park finished 1st overall out of the 15 schools that competed on the day, which is a fantastic achievement. We are very proud of all of the students who competed in this event!

Congratulations to these students who finished in the top 15 of their race and will now compete in the Division event at Ruffey Lake Park on Thursday 30th May.

Sport Update

As I am writing this newsletter, there is a lot of uncertainty about when sporting events will be happening. At this stage there has been a range of sporting events that have been postponed and I will be updating families as the information becomes available. I appreciate your flexibility and look forward to returning to school.

Take care.
