Principal's Report
Lock down
Once again BHPS community and staff have rallied and supported their children over the past 2 weeks. Thank you to the many parents who sent emails thanking the school and staff for their amazing support and communicating how their children were working remotely. There is always a bigger narrative when you can see the bigger picture of:
- Families organising their spaces for everyone to work in
- Keeping to a routine and structure that gives success to everyone
- Placing expectations on students to complete the set tasks set down by teachers
- Giving plenty of fun, shared time with each other to support mental and physical health
- Staying tight as a family to get through the long, days and weekends.
Thank you for your support during this two week lock down, we are looking forward to the return of everyone tomorrow.
Our garden and oval project has certainly moved over the last two weeks and they are in the tidying, cleaning up and finally spraying the grassed areas with grass seed. We have a concrete drive to install, but that is being halted because of poor weather.
Reading…Reading…Reading
Having a lockdown for 14 days has allowed many children to read every day. I have had many children tell me about their reading habits and how they have improved. Keep the good work going and take the time out to hear your child read….Thank you for your continued support.
Prep Enrolments for 2022
If you have a child that will be attending Boronia Heights PS in 2022 we are taking enrolments NOW. The Education Department are requesting that all Prep enrolments are completed by the end of Term 2 (25th June). If you know anyone who would like to have further information about our school or enrol their child, please ask them to phone the school so we can talk them through the process or book a tour on our website (no tours allowed at the moment).

A Big Thank You
Many thanks to Mick Holden, Karen Evered and Bec Hodgkiss for planting mulching and paving through the worst of weather yesterday. Making a great big impact on landscaping in our school.
Take care, stay positive and look after yourselves. Looking forward to our wonderful students returning to school tomorrow.
Stay Positive and Stay Safe.
