Visual Arts

Students in 5/6 did a one off sculpture task last week, using the work of Alberto Giacommetti and foil!

Lots of collaborative work was created, including yoga poses, footy and netball games.

 Students in 3/4 completed their work on our theme of ‘water’.

 We discussed using recycled materials, including plastic drink bottles and foam and  tissue paper from a printing project.

 This week the students will add details to their sculptures.

Students in 1/2 completed their work on Miro.

After ripping, they painted around their shapes. This week we will complete these works and reflect on our learning for the term.

Foundation students completed their unit on Howard Arkley and houses, including these collage works and paper bag sculptures.
