Push Up Challenge – An Amazing Achievement!

This June, as part of the Push-Up Challenge run by the Push for Better Foundation, our school completed over 94,000 push-ups to raise money for the prevention and early intervention of depression, anxiety, and suicide. On top of this, the school community and the 50 people taking part in the challenge raised $7,321 towards the cause – a huge effort and seven times the original goal of $1000. This is testament to the generosity of everyone involved with the school and really highlights the ability we have to get behind a cause as a collective. I want to especially thank the teachers who took part or helped to organise the event. I encourage everyone to take part in the challenge next June and learn more about this important initiative.
