Modern Choir – Upcoming Live Performance

It’s been very exciting to have so many new Choir members join us this week from Year 1 and Year 2. We will have lots of opportunities to make music together, starting with Tuesday lunchtime rehearsals. Please remember that being a member of choir means attending the rehearsals to prepare for performances ahead, in the same way that a basketball player attends training sessions to prepare for the game ahead! We look forward to seeing you at rehearsals every Tuesday at lunchtime! 

There are special songs to practice for our performance on Thursday 15th June. I sent this information out via email on Wednesday 7/6, but have included it here to be sure all students have access to the right tunes and music.

Please practice singing the following songs as often as time allows before the big day, memorising the words as you go! 

• Advance Australia Fair (karaoke style video; please do not share this track as we have a licence for it.)

To all choir members who have sung with the Choir all year: You are guiding our new singers with musicality, grace and style, and are a very important part of all rehearsals and preparation for this performance and others to come. Thank-you for all your efforts, before and after new members joined.
