Victorian Young Leaders

At the beginning of Term 2, some of our Year 7 and 8 Students successfully participated in Victorian Young Leaders: Emerging Leaders Forum funded program by Victorian Department of Education in collaboration with Asia Education Foundation at Asia link ,and The University of Melbourne.

Through 3 virtual workshops students successfully participated and completed training on topics of building global competencies, intercultural understanding, critical and creative thinking, and leadership skills.

Student Voice Action Group

Our Year 7-10 Student Voice team has been busy working in action groups to address some needs at the school.  During their sessions, they have worked out three issues that they would like to address and are forming the skills necessary to work out actions they would like to use to address the needs.

State School Relief Fundraiser

On Thursday 1st June the Student Voice Team ran a fundraiser for State Schools Relief.  The theme for the fundraiser was to dress as your favourite character.

We would like to thank the Lyndhurst Community for their donations as we raised $513 for State School Relief. If you haven’t heard of the organisation, they are a not-for-profit that help students in need with uniform, shoes and educational resources for school.  They rely on funding and donations to help students.

Blip of the Jungle

The Drama club will be hosting the production Blip of the Jungle on the 16th and 17th June. There will be 3 shows:

• Friday 16th Evening Show (6pm-7pm)
• Saturday 17th Matinee (3pm-4pm)
• Saturday Evening Show (6pm-7pm)
