PLANNING FOR 2022

Planning for 2022 is well underway! If you know that your child/children will not be returning to St Joseph's School in 2022, parents are asked to complete this form. We appreciate your early notification.

OUTSTANDING HOME READERS

K - 2 students and parents/carers are reminded that all home readers need to be returned to their class teacher by the end of Week 9. No home readers will be sent home after week 9. 

There are a lot of books outstanding and need to be accounted for by the end of the year.

We appreciate your help to round these up and return them to school. Books are known to hide in strange places! 

TRANSITION PROGRAMME:     YEAR 6 - GLEN INNES HIGH SCHOOL

Glen Innes High School have advised  the following dates for their Yr 6 to High School Transition programme. 

Term 4:

1st December      11.30am - 1.30pm   School Tour for students followed by sausage sizzle

8th December       8.55am - 3.00pm     Taster Lessons

9th December       8.55am - 3.00pm     Taster Lessons

1st December       6.30pm                        Parent and Student Information Evening - via zoom

Parents of Year 6 students enrolling in Year 7 at the Glen Innes High School for 2022 are asked to return the permission notes for the Transition Programme by Friday 19th November,  if they haven’t already done so. 

For the High School tour on the 1st December, students will be transported to and from St. Joseph’s School by bus and will be accompanied by staff from St. Joseph’s School. A permission note for this event will be distributed in the coming week. 

For the “Taster Lesson Days’  on the 8th and 9th December, student transport to and from the High School will be as they normally do, either by their regular school bus or parent pick up and drop off. 

BOOK CLUB

Issue 8 of Scholastic Book Club has been given to the students. This is the last issue for 2021. Thank you to everyone who has supported Book Club this year.

If you wish to place an order please do so by Friday 26th November. No late orders will be accepted.
