2022 House Cross Country Championships
Date: Friday 11th March
Where: St Simon the Apostle school
Who will be involved: All students from Prep to Year 6 will take part in the House Cross Country
Starting time: 9:00am for the first race.
What students need to wear: Students can wear a Tshirt of their house colour for the day. Comfortable shorts/ pants can be worn on the day.
2022 House Cross Country Timetable:
The following distance will be run by each year level.
Prep: 300m - This will be a small track marked around the oval.
Year 1: 1km
Year 2: 1km
Year 3 & Year 4: 2km
Year 5 & Year 6 : 3km

***NB: Times are subjective to change and dependant on the weather or delays from the previous year level race. Notification to parents will be sent out through Skoolbag on the day for any major time changes.
Times from the day and from the Physical Education Program will be used to select competitors to represent the school at the District Cross Country in the 9/10 year old, 11 year old and 12/13 year old age brackets. Year Level Cross Country Champions will be awarded this year for the event.
Parents are most welcome to watch their child/ren running on the day in the designated areas marked out. As this is a COVID Safe school event, all spectators are required to be vaccinated and we ask all spectators to be socially distanced while watching their child.
