Level Crossing Removal - Mt Derrimut Rd

The Victorian Govt is removing the level crossing at Mt Derrimut Road by elevating the rail line over the road and building a new Deer Park Station.

Early works have kicked off at the site, including ground testing and assessments, with further activity – such as site establishment and works in the rail corridor – increasing throughout March. This is a major step in the project, which will improve safety and ease congestion at Mt Derrimut Road.

Final designs for the 1.2-kilometre elevated rail bridge over Mt Derrimut Road and new Deer Park Station have now been released and they also feature a transport hub, giving commuters access to a new bus interchange, trains and car parking, with safer connections for pedestrians and cyclists, all within one precinct.

You’re invited to view the final designs, explore our virtual information room, ask questions, and find out more about the upcoming construction works at Mt Derrimut Road, Deer Park | Engage Victoria

For more information or to subscribe to email updates on the project, visit our website at Mt Derrimut Road, Deer Park | Level Crossing Removal Project (levelcrossings.vic.gov.au)

You can also subscribe to SMS construction updates by texting Derrimut to 0427 840 967
