Congratulations to students who have been recognised by staff for their demonstration of one or many of the 6 Learning Powers celebrated at SMDP.

During Monday's whole school the following students were acknowledged and their learning described so we all know why they are worthy recipients of our awards and applause.

Prep N | Nash | For being a motivated learner who works hard to extend his own learning and the learning of others. He is thoughtful throughout the day, noticing when his peers need help and kindly offering support. Keep following the WOW’s and leading by example, Nash. |
1/2C | Jill | For being a reflective learner who is always looking for ways to challenge herself and improve her work. Jill has been an independent learner in her home reading this week by taking notes of unknown word meanings and adding them to a sticky note on seesaw. This has also generated rich classroom discussion. Well done Jill, you inspire us all to read more. |
1/2S | Jacqlyn | For being a motivated learner who always contributes to class discussions sharing her thoughts and ideas. She tries her best in every learning task and is always looking for ways to improve her learning and push it to the next step. Well done on being active in your learning! |
