~ Do all that you do with love ~

Dear Parents, Carers and Friends of St Therese's Primary School,

The Community Hub has finally opened! We have been waiting for this to happen for two years and have had to be patient while the global pandemic meant that visitors to schools were limited to essential only. Mrs Trish Lloyd, is our Student Wellbeing and Community Engagement Leader and is very, very excited to finally welcome people into her Community Hub space. Last week, the first Playgroup was held where a small group of mums and their toddlers came along to play and chat. Today, we have our first face-to-face English classes for adults, and later in the week, we host our first computer classes for adults.

The Community Hub is open to everyone in our community. If you or someone you know would benefit from being more connected in the community please direct them to Trish Lloyd who will be more than happy to connect you via our Community Hub.

Welcome Sausage Sizzle and Family Picnic - March 29

We are excited to invite all families to a family picnic on March 29 from 5:30pm till 7:00pm. This is a weather-dependent event as it will be held outside on the oval. Classroom teachers will be available to meet their students' parents in a fun and informal way. The classrooms will be open. We encourage you to come along to see the new classrooms and meet your child's teacher. A free sausage sizzle will be on offer and an Indian Food Truck and a Coffee Van will be onsite for any family who may wish to purchase food and drinks.

This event will be run in accordance with Covid Safe Measures. All visitors to the school will need to show proof of vaccination to enter and will be required to wear a face mask when going inside the buildings.

Please respond to the letter on PAM to indicate your interest so that we can cater accordingly. We look forward to seeing you there!

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club has started again on Wednesday mornings.  Cheese toasties will be available at the canteen from 8:30am.

Foundation Enrolments for 2023

If your child is ready to be enrolled for the 2023 school year, please call into the office to collect an enrollment form. Please complete the form and return it to the office as soon as possible. This will be really helpful as we begin to plan and offer places to new families in 2023.

School Tours for new families will be run at our Open Days on March 23 and March 30. Tours will be run at 9:30am, 12:00pm and 5:00pm. Bookings at the office are essential.

I hope you all have a terrific week!

Yours in partnership,

Michelle Bruitzman
