Year 10 Outdoor Education - Windsurfing

11 Year 10 Outdoor Education students went windsurfing at Yarrawonga Windsurfing School, Lake Mulwala, on Friday 18th November 2022.

John Shaw the main instructor for the day, commented that the students were one of the most respectful and helpful groups of students he had taught for windsurfing, and he has been doing this for many years.

This is great for our school and makes taking students to these activities a pleasure.

We were very lucky with the weather, it was sunny and warm, however, not much wind.

The students completed windsurfing in the morning session and most students got the hang of how to move the sail to turn to board and how to sail into the wind.

Due to lack of wind, students completed stand up paddle boarding in the afternoon.

The students attending: Zoe Baguley, Connor Brown, Caeleigh Cornhill, Heidi Fitzpatrick, Krysta Harding-Colliss, Ryley Harding-Collis, Kalika Miliankos-King, Tom Miskin, Jordan Vincent, Tristan Scott and Dylan White.
