Year 7 Camp

Finally, the Year 7 cohort departed for their long awaited camp to Tallangatta Valley. After Covid delays and flood alerts we loaded onto the Bus for a scenic trip to the camp site.

On arrival students were keen to see their rooms and start their first activity. The groups rotated through 4 activities for the day including kayaking, ropes course, archery, initiative games and the flying fox. A favourite activity was kayaking with all groups accidently (on purpose) capsizing their boats. It became clear that we have many students with secret acrobatic talents, with extreme flying fox tricks and many successful rock climbing attempts. The evening entertainment saw a competitive trivia challenge, with students showcasing their knowledge of TV shows, famous faces, world flags and music. The camp was a huge success, giving students and staff the opportunity to get to know each other better.
