Week 10 Term 4
What a year it has been! In a blink of an eye, we have reached the penultimate week of the school year. I can't believe we only have one week to go. The year hasn't finished the way I personally would have hoped, however I can't fault the children's continued application and effort as the year comes to a close. I want to take this opportunity to thank both Miss Lindsey (weeks 7-9) and Miss Ashleigh (weeks 10-11) for stepping in while I was at home recovering from my achilles surgery. It's a long road ahead, however I look forward to being in class part time over the last two weeks to share in the end of year learning and festivities.

Where do you start? After the previous two years of learning from home, we were able to spend the whole year at school learning and growing. There were so many highlights across the year that taught us so much and provided us with so many memories.
As you would be aware, we have been working productively through the whole of term 4 to plan, design, create and film our stop motion animations for our Inquiry unit - Frame by Frame. After many weeks of planning, the children have been able to film and edit their animations. Next week they will get the chance to share their finished animations with their classmates, in our very own Creativity Expo. The children can be so proud of their efforts! They have learnt many new skills and will be able to use their new found knowledge moving forward in year 4 and 5.
And finally...I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all staff, students and families for a very successful and rewarding year in 3/4B. Every year provides its challenges, with each challenge comes opportunity and growth. The students can be proud of all of their work this year and I wish them well in Year 4 and 5. Some of us may meet again!?
I'd also like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe, happy and healthy New Year! See you in 2023.
Kind regards, Mr Brendan.
