Community Association
Community Association 2023
We hope that everyone has had a happy and restful holiday period. The first Community Association meeting will be held on Tuesday 7 February, in the Staffroom, at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
We encourage anyone within the school community who can offer their time or skills, to support the initiatives of the Community Association, to reach out to a current member or just come along to the meeting. It is a wonderful way to meet others within the school community and support the initiatives and events of the school.
There are still vacancies within the Association for 2023, including the Treasurer, Chairperson and Special Food Day organiser which still require to be filled. These roles can be filled by an individual or a group.
Some of the activities the Community Association will proudly support throughout the year are:
- Welcome Morning tea on the first day back
- Welcome new parent and prep pizza night
- School Disco
- Special Food days for the kids
- Easter Raffle
- Mothers and Fathers dinners
- Father’s Day breakfast
- Trivia night or other major fundraiser and social event
- Mother’s Day Stall
- Grandparent’s Day Morning Tea
- Year 6 Graduation and the end of year BBQ
