From the Principal

Welcome Back!

I would like to welcome everyone back to the beginning of our school year. The first week is always filled with much anticipation and excitement and this has definitely been the case.

It was particularly exciting welcoming our new Foundations and families to Langy Park Primary school yesterday. The success of their first day was a reflection of our Foundation transition program and making sure that they were familiar with our school environment.

It is clearly evident that everyone is well rested and ready to start the school year. We look forward to working with you all very closely across the year, so to benefit your child's learning.

School Vision and Values

I think it is important that everyone in community is familiar with our school's vision values.

Our vision is what we strive for in achieving for all our kids at Langy Park Primary School. Our vision statement is:

At Langwarrin Park Primary School we support our students to be curious, confident and caring learners, who are able to work to their full potential.

Guiding our school vision are our three school values of:

  1. Respect
  2. Resilience
  3. Citizenship

I know you will also closely support your child/ren to achieve our vision and model each of our school values.

New Staff

We have a number of new staff who have joined our school this year. I would like to warmly welcome to our school community:

  1. Mr Scott Hannah who is teaching 609.
  2. Miss Holly Smith-Pill who is teaching 612.
  3. Ms Ashlee Grant who is teaching 534.
  4. Mr Rowan Freake who is teaching 427
  5. Miss Kamika Hart who is teaching 218
  6. Miss Makayla Young who is teaching 116
  7. Miss Emma Middlebrook who is teaching F01

They have all done a sensational job in quickly building relationships with kids, parents and colleagues and will be highly valuable members of our school community this year.

I look forward to and am excited about the Term ahead!
