Learning and Teaching

SCIENCEWORKS

This term some of our senior students were able to continue their learning about space and light at the Science Works Museum.

There they explored the night sky, the solar system and the power of light. They visited the Planetarium and watched a surround picture/sound movie about the importance of conservation that was interesting, fun and engaging! Students had a chance to try many activities that challenged their thinking and gave them a new understanding about the world and the universe in which we live.

Our day would not have been possible without the generous help of our wonderful parents! A huge ‘thank you’ to those who generously volunteered.

Senior Soccer Clinics

Thanks to the Positive Start Program funded by the Government the Seniors will participate in soccer clinics in Week 9 for their Friday Sports. Each Learning Space will attend an hour clinic. Could parents please acknowledge the notification on Operoo and ensure their child is wearing their sports uniform, brings their hat and water bottle.
