Physical Education Update

What a start to 2023. We have a busy term ahead of us. Physical Education is such an important part of the Curriculum. It allows students to develop skills such as teamwork, cooperation and communication as well as contribute to a healthy lifestyle. St Aidan’s is lucky to have a Physical Education teacher this year and we welcome Miss Baron to the St Aidan's Staff. All students at St Aidan’s will have a Physical Education lesson once a week  with Miss Baron. Students will also have a Physical Education lesson once a week with their class teacher. 

Congratulations to students who attended trials for Representative Pathway Sports in Term 4 last year. We have already had the next level of AFL trials and many more to come in the next few weeks. Please ensure you have filled out the google form relating to your child's sporting experience for all students in Years 3-6.

Marley (5) and Max (6) were successful at the AFL Sydney Trials and will now go onto trial at the MacKillop level.

Mitchell (6) was also successful in his Sydney Trial last year. He will be progressing to the next level of Basketball. 

Max (6) will be travelling next week to attend the MacKillop trials for Touch Football. 

Congratulations and goodluck to these students. As always we are proud of St Aidan’s students and their achievements on the sporting field.
