During the term, students from Years 7 to 10 attended a presentation on cyber safety, coinciding with Safer Internet Day. It reminds students of the importance of staying safe and responsible online. However, the message is just as important for parents and carers as it is to our students.
Parents and carers can join a free series of webinars from the eSafety Commissioner. It gives parents and carers the knowledge, skills and tools to support their children to have safe online experiences. The next 30-minute webinar is about practical tech tips, conversation starters and digital parenting advice, which starts on the 3rd of May, but registration to join is opened now. Go to eSafety for more information.
Parents and carers of Year 11 and 12 students are warmly welcomed next term to chat with the teachers of our senior students. Here, we can discuss the progress students have made so far, potential issues that may affect their studies, and what can be expected throughout the year.
The teachers, Year Advisers and Deputy Principals will be there to assist and answer your questions.
If there are any pressing matters, you can discuss them with the school at any time.
