Merry 6s
To encourage positive and consistent behaviours, we are rededicating ourselves in using Merry 6s! For students in Years 7, 8 and 9 who regularly uphold our Merrylands High School ethos of being a safe, respectful learner, teachers can easily and quickly acknowledge and reward them with a Merry 6!
Students can deposit these in the front office or the library. They will then be in the draw to win a prize, which is drawn every two weeks at the Week B assembly.
Positive Behaviour for Learning
Teachers and staff from the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) team have updated our PBL Matrix. It is a quick reference grid for students to identify the behaviour expectations for various situations – in the classroom, on the playground and even on excursions. These are already posted in the classrooms and around the school.
