Hello families,

On 17 July we had our first PnC meeting for Term 3. Thanks to Luella, Bridget, Tess, Gary, Adele, Chris and Tamie for attending and sharing your thoughts and ideas. At the meeting, we made plans for our upcoming events, including Father’s Day, the Bunnings BBQ, and the Comedy Night. Minutes of this meeting can be found on Compass.

Father’s Day fun!

We are excited to celebrate the special dads, granddads, and father figures in our lives on Friday 2 September. We’ll share more about our plans for the day in the coming weeks.

Gift stall & hamper donations

In preparation for the Father’s Day events, we are putting the call out for donations of all kinds for our famous gift stall and raffle hampers.

Gift stall ideas:

Craft Night – Wednesday 17 August

All parents/carers are invited to our Craft Night on Wednesday 17 August from 6pm in the school staff room. We will be making a range of items for the Father’s Day gift stall (and welcome any ideas/donations of materials prior to the night). No experience necessary – come along for some chats, a cuppa, and crafty fun!

We will also be holding the August PnC meeting during this event.

Coffee Morning & coffee machine training

Thanks to everyone who enjoyed a brew and a chat at our Coffee Morning on 29 July. And a big thanks as always to George, our expert barista, as well as David, Andrew and Tamie for assisting. We raised $170.

George will be running a coffee machine training day on Tuesday 16 August from 3.30pm. Come along and learn (or brush up on) your barista skills in a friendly and supportive environment. Volunteers are also welcome to learn ‘on the job’ at our next Coffee Morning, Wednesday 17th August from 8am.

If you’re in the school grounds at pick-up or drop-off, swing by our Parents Noticeboard (near the Buddy Bench) to find out more about upcoming school social and fundraising events. You can also find out about upcoming events via Compass, our Facebook Group and WhatsApp groups.

As always, we recognise that not all parents & carers have the capacity to volunteer or donate to our fundraising efforts. We welcome all efforts, not matter how small.
