EMR Senior Table Tennis

Congratulations to both the Senior Girls and Senior Boys table tennis teams that recently competed at EMR. After winning at Monash Division both teams were keen to train and prepare for the next stage of competition.

The Senior Girls team lost to Ringwood SC in their first match 0-6, however in the second-round beat Forest Hill College 4-2. This meant that they finished second in their pool and qualified Brentwood’s team to play in the cross over semifinals. Unfortunately, with some very close matches, Canterbury Girls defeated our team. 

The Senior Boys team also had two schools to play in their pool. In the first round, Brentwood competed against Ringwood SC and narrowly lost 3-3 (10-12). Round two was against Templestowe College in which the boys won 6-0. This also placed Brentwood into the cross over semifinals, where Brentwood played Highvale SC and lost 0-6.
