Year 9 Into Year 10 Course Counselling

Applications to accelerate into a VCE subject - NEW in 2022!

Applications are LIVE on Compass and students can collect a form from the Middle School Office or from their Course Counsellor who will be visiting Year 9 classes throughout the week. This process empowers the students and puts a lot of responsibly onto them. Students need to complete the form, provide a copy of their report, get a teacher endorsement and their parent/carer.  Forms are during Friday 5 August.

 

The Year 9 2022 into Year 10 2023 Course Counselling days are:

Year 10 Into Year 11 Course Counselling

Students have their Year 10 2022 into Year 11 2023 Course Counselling interviews coming up. Parents/carers can book for these via Compass. Before this interview students should have completed their Career Action Plan.

 

The Year 10 2022 into Year 11 2023 Course Counselling days are:

Thursday 4 August Year 10 into 11 Course Counselling – Day 2

Year 10 ‘Challenge Accepted’ Day

On Monday 25 July, Year 10 students engaged in a full day of learning and wellbeing workshops aimed at building personal resilience and developing strong values to empower students to reach their full potential. 

 

Thank you to our Year 10 Team, Wellbeing Team and staff involved for all their work in preparing this experience for our students and to the staff involved in facilitating the workshops!

Congratulations to Year 10 students Molly Flanders, Sipho Gray and Katokakala Lino who have been accepted into the Monash Scholars Program.  The nominations were based on these students’ applications, academic ability, leadership qualities and contribution to school and community life.  The benefits of the Monash Scholars Program include:  enhanced learning, exploring career ambitions, defining personal aspirations, preparation for university life and building networks with other high-achieving students.  Congratulations and well done.
