Thank you

Recently our school bus had some repairs performed by Westfield Auto Body Repairs in Fairfield. Frank Spagnolo, Managing Director not only repaired the damage from an accident but also some other damage the bus had sustained over its years of use.

The school, and in particular the students and staff in our Special Education Unit are very grateful for the service, workmanship and good dead that Frank’s team delivered.

Debating

During the last week of Term 2,  our Year 7 debating team versed our Year 8 debating team for the first round of the Premier’s Debating Challenge.

The topic that they were given was “That we should ban Naplan Testing”. Students only had one hour prior to the debate to plan their speeches and arguments, all without the assistance of any teachers or resources.

Both teams came up with excellent points, however the Year 8 team were the winners on the day.  Congratulations to our Year 8 team, consisting of Lucy Todd, Taneisha Coyne, Christina Nguyen and Negan Moshi. Also a special mention to our Year 7 team (Michelle Nguyen, Atalia Joseph, James Doctor and Cisem Kolac), who did an excellent job for their very first debate.
