Winter Interschool Sports

Last Friday, Jells Park had 5 teams compete in the WESA District Winter sport finals at Holy Saviour Primary School.

Congratulations to the Football teams, Soccer team and Teeball team who won their final and will progress through to Division level. Our Netball B team also won their game but unfortunately will not progress. 

Our Netball A team came up against a very strong Weeden Heights PS team and were unfortunately beaten on the day. A great effort was made by all players who contributed well throughout the season.

Thank you to all the parents who came along to support the teams and we wish the winning teams the best of luck at Division level.

Division Football

Congratulations to our school football team who were runners up in the Monash-Waverley Division Football competition. The team won both of their pool games to progress through to the final against Mt Scopus. Although the boys (and girl) showed excellent determination in the final, Mt Scopus were to strong and won by 5 goals. Although we lost the final, we were the first team to kick a goal against Mt Scopus in their Interschool Sports competition.

Thank you to the parents who drove and supported the team throughout the day.
