OSHClub NEWS

Welcome back everyone, to the start of a new term.  I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday.  As usual, we all had an exciting and engaging holiday program.

This term we will be continuing with redecorating our display board and it will be very exciting to hear what sort of ideas/suggestions the children have for these displays.

I am very pleased to announce that Jenni Green, who has worked as a casual assistant here for many years, has now been made a permanent member of our term.  Jenni is a very dedicated, professional worker and enjoys engaging with the children and even though she has worked with us for so long, it is a definite plus having her with us everyday.

I made a number of purchases just before the holidays, to help with mobile storage of equipment and toys which has made it easier for the children to find and pack up such things as lego, wooden blocks, dolls, tea sets etc.

I also purchased a large wooden kitchen set including, fridge, oven, sink and storage areas and a large wooden, spinning shopping centre/dolls house with a lift.  These items have sparked a lot of interest from the children and created an environment for the children to extend their creative/dramatic play.

Just a friendly reminder, if your child will not be attending before school care/after school care and they are booked in, can you please  call, leave a message or send a text and let me know.  This includes if your child has gone home early due to illness etc.  By letting me know,  I will not be looking for them after I do the role call and head count and you will not receive calls and texts asking where they are.  Please be aware that company policy requires me to call the Police at 4 p.m. If I have not been notified your child is not attending and I cannot find them.

Thank you for your understanding and I hope you have a great week.
