King Community Day

The focus of King Red Faces Community Day on the final day of Term 2 was raising much-needed funds for Wagga St Vincent De Paul. From pyjamas to wedding parties to historical figures, students and teachers embraced the ‘I Shouldn’t Be Here’ theme and finished Term 2 in style! Led by the enthusiastic staff and students of King House, activities included a monster cake stall, coin toss, and a BBQ and nachos for lunch. Finally, the King Red Faces talent extravaganza did not disappoint, with Balin Willis of Year 7 taking out first place with his highly entertaining comedy routine from an impressive line-up of talented musicians, rollerskaters, rappers, dancers and singers.
A big thanks to our generous sponsors for the day: Gelatissimo, Domino’s Pizza, Guzman Y Gomez, Flip Out, Forum 6 Cinema, Baylis Grind, Rebel Sport and Wagga Tenpin Bowl. Together, King House and the Kildare Community raised $1700 to assist the needy in our community.
