Curriculum Charges and iPads
Curriculum charges need to be paid in full by Thursday 29th March to be eligible for the $50 discount. Curriculum charges still need to be paid even if the iPad payment has been made. Families with outstanding Curriculum charges will have their iPad collected from 16th April (the beginning of Term 2).
Payment options are over the counter or via QKR. You can meet with the Business Manager to arrange a payment plan if required.
Belongings, Ambulance & Insurance
Private Property brought to school by students, staff or visitors is not insured and the Department of Education does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage.
Parents are reminded that the Department of Education does not provide personal accident insurance or Ambulance cover for students. Parents and guardians of students, who do not have student accident insurance/ambulance cover, are responsible for paying the cost of medical treatment for injured students, including the cost of ambulance attendance/transport and any other transport costs.
Instrumental Music
A reminder to students who have been enrolled in the Instrumental Music Program that the Semester One payment of $100 is due to the Middle Years office before lessons can commence. If you have any queries regarding this please call Andrew Rogers or Alina Agaronyan on Middle Years campus.
Please note that Instrumental Music lessons are only available for students on Middle Years.

2018 Academies
Uniforms
Academy uniforms have arrived at the school. For a student to receive their uniform, school fees must be paid in full. As soon as this occurs your child will be allocated there uniform. Please note uniforms will only be issued on a Tuesday or Thursday.
After school/ before school classes
Classes start this week for all academies that run before school or after school classes:
5/6 Mad Classes: Thursday after school
7-9 MAD: Monday after school
5/6 SANE: Thursday after school
7-9 SANE: Monday after school
5/6 Fasttrack: Thursday after school

Together We Dance
On Friday 23rd March, the Year 7-9 MAD Dance students will be performing at ‘Together We Dance’. An evening where performance groups all over Victoria are coming together to showcase their love and passion for dance to raise money for The Good Friday Appeal. This is going to be an amazing event that you don't want to miss!

Mobile Dental Services
The Nagambie Dental Surgery Van will again be attending our school offering both free check-ups and follow up dental treatment for children of those eligible parents/guardians. To be eligible for free dental service, you must be in receipt of government payment in the form of a Health Care Card.
Please sign and return the forms and return to school by Friday 9th March in order to access the service.
Fundraising Committee Meeting
Come along to the school’s next Fundraising Committee Meeting next Thursday 8th March at 3.30pm in the staffroom on our Early Years Campus, meet other like-minded parents and see what our school is doing to build our school community and raise funds. Children are welcome to attend meetings.

Westfield Confirms Opening Date
The countdown is on, with Westfield Plenty Valley confirming its exciting dining and entertainment precinct will open in less than a month, on 22 March. Customers can enjoy an array of special offers, giveaways, live music and activities upon opening.
The $80 million redevelopment will feature new dining and entertainment options housed within a new precinct that has new retailers including Victoria’s very first Italian Street Kitchen, ENA Greek Street Food, The Pancake Parlour, a new concept YCMA and a first-class Village Cinemas complex.
Prior to launch, Westfield and Mill Park local and ex-AFL star Brent “Boomer” Harvey, will hand pick local kids, aged six to 12 years, to be the first to test out the new facilities before the centre officially opens. Parents and guardians have less than a week to submit entries on behalf of their children. For an opportunity to become one of the lucky 10 who will make up the Plenty Valley Kids’ Panel.
