On Wednesday 2 August the children from the Early Learning Centre took part in Liturgy for Blessed Jane of Aza Feast Day. Jane of Aza is the mother of St Dominic and patroness of the Early Learning Centre. Fr Matthew Boland OP gave the Liturgy with the ELC children, parents, staff and members of Executive present. Six children offered their prayers as well as a parent and member of staff. We all sang our new ELC hymn “These Hands.”

Afterwards we returned to the centre to celebrate the fourth birthday of Blackfriars Early Learning Centre. We had special party treats and enjoyed the company of family and friends; including our special friend Fr Karl Emerick OP.

We look forward to many more years of celebration in the Early Learning Centre.
