International Student Sporting News

On Friday 31 August, after school our International Students started a new sports group. This was arranged by Mr Su Zhaoyi and supported by Mr Watters. The students played basketball and badminton. It is planned for teams to be formed and games played against each other every Friday after school.  There are already 22 students taking part.  If you are an International Student and you are interested in this activity, please let Li Ping or Winnie know as more players are most welcome.

On Thursday 6 September, two of our International Students, Shirley Chen and Ryan Yuan, took part in the Kingston Athletics Sports Day representing Mordialloc College. Both of them did very well, Shirley won two gold medals for the shot put and discus events. Shirley will now represent Mordialloc College at the Southern  Metropolitan Region Athletics finals on  Thursday  11 October.
