World Of Maths

Our Year 7, 8 and Middle School Applied students once again participated in the World of Maths Incursion during the first week of March.  It involved students working through a number of hands on activities that tested their problem solving skills in Mathematics.  The activities were based on a range of mathematical topics and real world applications. Students worked in small teams to solve as many problems that they could during the lesson. It was great to see students engaged in their learning.

Schools Access Monash (SAM) Mentoring Program Launch

Congratulations to Matilda Scroggie, Alex Cox, Charlotte Groves, Hannah Russell, Jaimie Burke, Lu Yang, Nigel Mathew, Niranjan Sudheer Krishna and Jackson Lees who have all been accepted into the Monash University Mentoring Program.

We recently held our in school launch where students where given a further understanding of the program and the opportunity to meet some of their mentors. We wish these students all the best for a successful year ahead and hope they take advantage of the knowledge and experiences of their mentors. Especially exciting was to see one of our ex students Karu Handoyo come back as a Monash mentor.
