Please call Kate Thompson to arrange to have an enrolment package sent home if your child will be ready to start school in 2022. We would like our current parents to enrol before the 'Enrolling Now' flyer goes out with Australia Post to ensure a place in our Kindergarten class. We have sent home a flyer with each child today. To help with our enrolment campaign, our challenge to you is to pass these on to prospective families you may know, to help increase our enrolment numbers for next year.

General Housekeeping

In line with many other schools and organisations, we are moving towards a cashless office space this term. This will also help with our transition to using Compass Pay (probably in 2022). Please make all payments to school via the Qkr App, or through EFT and direct debit for fees.

We also need all permission notes etc to come to the office through the note trays in the class rooms. Students put their notes into these trays which are then brought around for processing each morning. When notes are handed over the counter they can be misplaced or caught up in other paperwork due to the busy nature of the front desk.

Finally, changes to afternoon travel arrangements need to be made before 2pm to ensure your child receives the message. Changes are read out to the children at the end of the lunch break to assist with afternoon organisation.

Compass

It has come to our attention that push notifications sent through Compass disappear after a certain amount of time and we understand that you can't always be checking notifications as soon as they come through. We do ask that parents check their Compass news feeds regularly throughout the week to keep up with the latest school and classroom news. News items are generally visible for 2 weeks so there should be plenty of time to catch up with school activities. Please fill in the paper note that is going home with students today and return to school tomorrow if you are having any issues with Compass.
