Literacy Helpers Parent Course 2021

Hi Prep - Year 2 Parents,

Tomorrow we will be running an information session for anyone interested in becoming a Literacy Helper this year. Literacy Helpers are rostered on to assist in the P-2 classrooms during the morning Literacy block.

FRIDAY 7th MAY @ 9am in the JARROW ROOM

It will run for approximately 30-45 minutes.

It is essential that you attend this session if you wish to be a Literacy Helper.

Andrew Fuller -  Tips for helping your child prepare for a test

If you have ever looked at a test or exam paper and thought, “I know that I know this but I can't remember anything”, if you have stayed awake in the middle of the night worrying about a test the next day, if you have ever felt butterflies in your stomach or a headache whenever you think of an coming test, here are a few ideas for you.

NAPLAN 2021

All the best to our year 3 and 5 students who will be participating in the NAPLAN testing program next week.

The NAPLAN  data gives us a very small snapshot of where our students are at when they sit these tests in May. We are very proud of all of our students and the terrific effort they display towards their school work.

The schedule for St Bede's grade 3 and 5 students is as follows;

Tuesday 11 May - Writing NAPLAN test

Wednesday 12 May - Reading NAPLAN test

Thursday 13 May - Conventions of Language (spelling and grammar) NAPLAN test

Friday 14 May - Numeracy NAPLAN test

Please ensure that your child brings their fully charged laptop and headphones to school each day.
