Italian

Carlton Nth PS Italian students meet Tempy PS Italian students

As part of this year’s learning in Italian, our students are connecting with other students in rural Victoria who are learning Italian Virtually.

On Tuesday, some of our 1/2 students met the F-2 students from Tempy Ps who live in the Mallee.

The students had the opportunity to meet and share their learning of Italian.

This allowed our students to use their speaking skills in Italian with other students in Victorian Schools.

The photos enclosed are of the students who met Tempy PS using the Webex Board.

It was a very proud moment to see our students at CNPS celebrate their learning of Italian.

Today we finished off our Inquiry project. We have been learning about Children’s Rights, and exploring how some children around the world have their rights taken away. Children around the world miss out on enough food, or are forced into wars, or discriminated against based on skin colour, gender etc.

We created posters to build awareness of these issues. We showed our knowledge to Year 5/6 students, and then went on a march around Curtain Square.
