New staff

Cornerstone welcomes a number of new staff this year. Mrs Sonya Norris and Miss Jasmine Black have joined the Dunsborough team. The vacant Admin team positions have been filled by Mrs Julie McCutcheon as Registrar and Mr Roland Kuendig as Finance and HR Coordinator. And Mrs Joelee Haskett is our new Secondary Visual Art and Graphic Design teacher. We are so happy to have these new additions and we're looking forward to their input into the ministry here at Cornerstone.

Our term dates for this year have been published in this newsletter under the previous tab. Please make note that the mid year break will be three weeks this year.

Timetable change

This year the Secondary timetable has seen a slight change - from six periods a day to seven periods a day. The start and finish times for the school day will remain unchanged, but each period will be just a little bit shorter to accommodate the extra session. There will be three periods until recess, followed by two periods to lunch time and the remaining two periods until the end of the day. There are many benefits to this change and we are already starting to settle into our new routine.

Sickness

We've started this week with a lot of students off sick or going home sick with some form of gastro bug. Please remind your children to practice good hygiene to help prevent the spread of this bug.
