The Art department has had a great start to the year.
Our Year 7 students have jumped straight into things and are having fun painting bright Pop Art style artworks, which were ready for Open Night.
Year 9 Art students are creating mixed media sculptures, their art room is getting fuller by the day, so exciting, I can’t wait to see the finished works. That along with Year 10’s getting ready to paint on their skate decks, it’s a busy place.
Studio Art, Art and Design technology Year 11 and 12 Students are excited to be going to Top Designs and Top Arts exhibitions starting in March, it is always a great motivator and a fun day out.

Performing Arts / Drama
We are extremely excited that our new Year Seven Curriculum now includes Drama. All Year Seven students will complete the one term course, led by Ms. Emily Lombard and Mr. Delaney, both qualified and experienced teachers and practitioners of Theatre.
Currently the students are enjoying several different games and activities focused on developing their physical expressive skills. These skills will then be utilized on the students first Performance Task being a group devised mime.
