Preschool News

Part of Preschool has become a pretend school classroom. The most popular roles for the children are the Principal and Teacher. We hear lots of interesting conversations as the children imagine what happens in a classroom. The children enjoy putting on the school uniform and completing "schoolwork".  Oakie dokies are regularly handed out and some of the children have quite a collection. Dramatic play in a pretend school is part of our transition activities. It helps to dispel preconceived ideas and anxieties about school.
