Choir
Rehearsals for the St Brendan’s Choir have now commenced for students from Years 3-6 on Wednesdays at lunchtime from 1:25pm-1:45 pm. Thank you to the students listed below who have been attending rehearsals. Most of these students have also completed their Operoo permission form for the excursion to Somerville Gardens aged care facility on Tuesday, December 6. The choir will attend Mass and sing Christmas songs and hymns during their Somerville Gardens visit. Please email me as soon as possible if your child’s name is not listed below or you have any further queries regarding the choir. Students will not be able to attend the excursion if they have not been in attendance at choir rehearsals and their Operoo form has not been submitted for them.

In case you missed it: Save the date- Exciting news!
I am very excited to announce that Moana Jnr. has been secured for the St Brendan’s biennial whole school production for 2023. This is a wonderful tale of resilience and determination, woven together by lovable characters and with catchy songs. Families are asked to please save the date for Monday, October 16, 2023, when Moana will be performed by our talented St Brendan's students at the beautiful Frankston Arts Centre. Rehearsals will be well underway in the weeks leading up to the production, especially in the last two weeks of Term Three and the first two weeks of Term Four, 2023. Please keep this in mind when scheduling family events around this time.
Have a fabulous week.
Yours in faith & harmony.

Choir
Now that Covid restrictions have eased, I am pleased to announce that rehearsal for the St Brendan’s Choir can finally commence. As it is late in the year, I invite only students from Years 3-6 to join me on Wednesdays at lunchtime from 1:25-1:45 for choir rehearsals. I hope to invite Year Two students to join the choir in 2023. A form will be shared via Operoo in the days ahead with further details, but our focus for this term will be to sing Christmas songs at a Somerville Gardens aged care facility Mass and at the whole school end of year Mass.
