Mysterious creatures and extraordinary photographs

Year 7

In Year 7 Visual Arts this term students have been working on creating their very own "Mysterious Creature", which they designed and then sculpted with clay. The creatures are surreal, fantastical animals that combine different features from a range of animals the students have chosen. They will soon be adding colour glazes to complete their ceramic piece.​

Year 9

Year 9 Photography and Digital Media students have been working on creating a series of black and white photographs that make everyday ordinary objects appear extraordinary. They have experimented with lighting, working with developing prints in the darkroom as well as creating and editing digital photos of their objects. Here is a selection of their excellent works.
