Year 12

As you read this article, Year 12 students will be approaching the end of their final exams. By the end of next week, most Year 12 students will have finished their last exam; in other words, they will have completed their schooling!

To these (soon to be former) students, we say thank you for all you have contributed to the life and culture of Aitken College. We must also thank the parents who have sent their children to us to be educated. It has been our pleasure to teach your children and it has been a joy to us to see them grow and develop into the wonderful young men and women they have become.

Early Commencement

I would like to congratulate and thank all 2020 Year 10 and Year 11 students on their excellent work so far during the VCE/VCAL Early Commencement Program. Students’ attitudes and work ethic have been first class and the hard work during these two weeks will pay off when students return next year, already ahead on their VCE studies.

2021 Year 12 Student Learning Conference

All 2021 Year 12 students are reminded that they will start the year with our annual Student Learning Conference at the Hyatt Essendon Fields (1 English Street, Essendon Fields), on Monday 1 February. This compulsory event is an exciting and worthwhile day, which equips the new Year 12 students with study and personal management skills needed for the year ahead. Permission forms for the Student Learning Conference will be distributed to students and emailed to parents; can I ask families to ensure these are returned to the Senior School office promptly.
