Flourishing Families Online Series

It is not too late to register for the Flourishing Families series. It was great to see so many Great Ryrie parents attend the first two sessions.

The aim of these sessions is to create an awareness of how Character Strengths, Mindsets, Positive Emotions and Positive Relationships can help us thrive and flourish individually and collectively. Edwina Ricci will lead the series and she is a wonderful and experienced presenter. I highly recommend this series to all parents, so you can build upon and support the work we do around building wellbeing in our students at school.

For more information, please see the flyer included on our Community page at the end of this Newsletter, or access via the Compass News Feed sent earlier this week.

5 November - Session 3 Managing our Emotions

12 November - Session 4 Building High Quality Relationships

19 November - Session 5 Mindsets for Success

The idea behind the Bucket Filler theory is that each interaction with another person is a chance to build wellbeing. The theory developed by Clifton and Rath is that people have an invisible bucket and that by doing something kind for someone,  you not only fill their bucket but your own too!

Anyone can nominate a member of the Great Ryrie Community, by contacting me via Compass with your nomination and kind act.

Congratulations to our Bucket Fillers!
