Weeden Heights Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Program

We have been very busy in the kitchen and garden the past two weeks!  Our grades 3/4, 2/3 and 1/2 have been out in the garden weeding away in preparation for summer planting!  In the kitchen grades 3 and 4 have been busy making dishes keeping in theme with our term focus, getting an extra serve of vegetables every day.   We celebrated Halloween in the kitchen this week making vegetable coloured pasta and pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookies!  The students had so much fun using the pasta machines and learning a new skill. We are delighted to be back at school and seeing all your wonderful faces, we look forward to many more fun classes throughout the term!
