Middle School Assembly
Tuesday 14 June
On Tuesday 14th June, Years 7, 8 and 9 came together in the Gym to take part in the Middle School Assembly for Term 2.
Each term, Liliana Bell, Kyle McDonald, Anoushka Jithesh and and Kylie Wolfe, who make up the Middle School leadership team, meet up weeks in advance to plan and then ultimately run the Middle School assembly for the 692 members of the Middle School. As always the leaders did an amazing job in running the event.
In each Middle School Assembly, we try to showcase the musical talents of students within Mordialloc College. This Term we had Lachlan Welsh, from Year 10, accompanied by Mr Danoudis, performing the classic “Tears In Heaven”, written and originally performed by Eric Clapton. Lachlan performed a fantastic rendition of the song and received a large ovation!
This term 129 individual students were nominated to receive a total of 153 certificates. The following students are the students that were nominated for at least one award. Students with an asterisk next to their name were nominated for more than one award and were given their certificates during the assembly. All students who were nominated for one award will be handed their certificates in upcoming Year level assemblies.
