School News
Welcome Back
Welcome back to the start of the new school year. I trust that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
Over the past two days staff have been involved in a Getting Off to a Great Start program that has focused on collaborative understanding across the school to ensure a consistent approach to teaching and learning and wellbeing.
The start to 2017 is extremely hectic in the first few weeks, so please check the diary dates listed in this newsletter to ensure you don’t miss anything.
If your child cannot remember which room they are in, Mirjana and I will be in the yard from 8.30 with class lists, or you can make your way into the office to see Trudy and Vanessa with a list.
We look forward to catching up with everyone on Monday and once again we will have the coffee van available for families in the yard from 8:30am.
Getting Off to a Great Start Parent Meetings
In week 2 Monday 6th February to Friday 10th February teachers will be hosting Getting Off to a Great Start Parent Meetings. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet with your child's teacher and establish a strong relationship for the year ahead. This meeting is intended for you to share information regarding your child's learning and social needs with teachers to support ongoing progress this year.
Bookings will be done online. The attachment shows the step by step guide to making a booking for your 'Getting Off to a Great Start' Parent Meeting.
