Year 7 – Acrylic/Watercolour Painting 

The students were set on a task to explore and research masks from different cultures. This was used as inspiration for their acrylic painting. The theme was to create a painting which incorporates a mask with either a cityscape, fauna or flora. What an amazing group of Year 7 artists! Well done Year 7.

Year 9 - Textile Design

Students were to produce a Punch Rug incorporating aspects of textile design. A high-level product was to demonstrate a neat construction and finishing, creativity and originality. Students produced a production plan and evaluation describing the design elements and principles. As a first-time Textile Design teacher I must commend all the students on their persistence and quality work ethic. Well done!!!
