Assembling the solar lights for Solarbuddy

With the money raised at Athletics Day and our Bake Sale/Musical performance, we were able to purchase 25 solar lights that were assembled by our IB students. 

They very capably followed instructions to construct the lights and turned them on to make sure they were in working order. Students also wrote a letter to the recipients of the lights, who live in Papua New Guinea. 

We will be ordering another set of lights next term and the IB students will help a class of Yr 7s to construct them.
