Music in May at Brentwood!

In the month of May, Brentwood Music Students have been very busy!

On 4th May, students from the Senior Concert Band and Senior String Ensemble went on an excursion to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. The students were able to view an open rehearsal and see the inner workings of a professional orchestra. It was a great outing for our students to really understand how rehearsals and performances take shape in a professional environment.

Alongside this, our students have prepared some wonderful performances at our Soirée nights in May. It was a great opportunity for students to share with each other and their families what they are learning in their instrumental music lessons. For some students, this was the very first time they would have played a solo performance to an audience.

Woodwind and Brass Soirée - Edmund Zhu, Calina Shao, Aiden Shamgar, Janice Zhu, Daniel Zhang, Keizo Williams, Lucas Chee, Marcus Chee, David Evans, Lisa Arakane, Shua Hwang, Jaslyn Truong, Atticus Lai, Zoe Jackson, Charlotte Major, Sudam

Ranasinghe, Chloe Choi, Justin Lim, Dominique Elliott, Benjamin Elliott, Madison Ferris and Riley Daniels.

Guitar and Drums Soirée - Yiannis Theodoropoulos, Aaron Kwan, Aarav Jain, Emily Stollery-Jones, Eva Mason, Rudra Agrawal, Tue Hin, Satvik Srinivas, Phoenix Kostoulias and Jasmin Bhoday.
