Music Camp - Reminders

Staff have been working hard on the schedule for next week’s Music Camp.   It will be filled with rehearsals, team building exercises and opportunities for students to try their hand at activities and experiences not usually offered at school.  Stay tuned for a special VCE Student performance and a Trivia Night hosted by the Performing Arts Captains.  

 

Please refer to the email or Compass Event for all forms and details, including what to bring to camp.  Please note:

  1. Medicine must be brought on the day, sealed in a bag with the Medicine Consent Form and given to Ms Wallis.
  2. All students must bring a packed lunch for the first day.
  3. Students are asked to bring their Music Stand if they have one.

Showcases 2022

Thank you to all families and friends that attended our recent Performing Arts Showcase Series 2022, which comprised four evenings of concerts that featured outstanding ensemble and solo performances.  Our Performing Arts Captains did a great job hosting the evenings and selling door tickets, and it was wonderful to shake out the cobwebs and see all our students back on stage performing.

 

Thanks also to the Parents of Performing Arts for providing front of house refreshments.  If you would like to join our wonderful Parents of Performing Arts Committee, please let me know.

Piano Key Fundraiser 

Our Piano Key fundraiser is well underway with many keys already sold!  This is a unique and meaningful way of contributing to our program and your continued support helps ensure that students will always have access to quality equipment. 

 

We are giving you the opportunity to leave a long-lasting contribution to the program by purchasing one of 88 Piano Keys for $100. 

 

As well as having your name commemorated on a plaque, everyone who purchases a piano key will also receive an actual piano key as a memento of your contribution and a token of our thanks.
