PFA refreshments at Senior School production

We hope guests of Mamma Mia, our brilliant Senior School production, enjoyed the drinks and nibbles provided by our wonderful PFA community, both before the show and during the interval.

We would like to extend a very special thanks to Carrie Fowler and her team of helpers including Rachael Baker, Janet Bowman, Alex Hopley, Mandy McDonald, Wendy McMillian, Lanka Nammuni, Anouk Sherman, Belinda Steiner, Michelle Tatford, Marnie Turner, Treasure Vellis, Helen Vouros and Karen Wynter. We are incredibly grateful for your time and efforts.

SHUS

If you are in the market for some high quality secondhand uniform garments or have items in excellent condition that you wish to sell, make sure to visit SHUS on Saturday 4 June from 9.00 to 11.00am in Dalton Hall.

Please remember to include a Contract of Sale for all consignment drop-offs. Thanks!

PFA General Meeting

We would love as many people as possible to join us on Tuesday 7 June from 7.30 to 8.30pm for the next PFA General Meeting. We will meet in the Staff Lounge with access via Gate 4 on Lillimur Street.

The PFA meetings are a friendly and informal meetup and are a great way to meet other parents from all year levels and hear about what’s happening at School.

At this meeting, we will be discussing the Staff Thank You Morning Tea, Father’s Day Stall and breakfast ideas for CSR events. We will also start planning for the 2023 Centenary Fair.

Chocolates and hot beverages provided – yum!  All parents at Kilvington are members of the PFA so everyone is welcome to attend.

Kilvington Cares

Staff Thank You Morning Tea

Our teaching staff at Kilvington are exceptional; using their knowledge and expertise to carefully guide our children through their studies and helping them to develop into considerate individuals of character and compassion.

To recognise their dedication and hard work, the PFA will host a Thank You Morning Tea on Wednesday 15 June.

All families are invited to deliver a plate/container/packet of goodies to Main Reception from 8.00am on the morning of 15 June for our staff to enjoy during the recess break.

You may like to bring some finger sandwiches, slices, cupcakes, cookies, tarts, pastries or anything else that is lovely for a morning tea, perhaps even some hot food items.

Please indicate if your food is gluten free, vegan, dairy free, etc, and please remember - no nuts. All reusable and named containers, platters, plates and stands will be available for collection from Main Reception in the afternoon from 2.00pm.

You may also like to include a note of appreciation to share with the teachers on our 'Wall of Gratitude' in the Staff Lounge. We know how much these sentiments are appreciated.

Entertainment membership

Entertainment membership provides a huge range of savings and offers for goods and services available in Melbourne. You can save big bucks on takeaway, dining, shopping, groceries, gift cards, activities and more! You can purchase your membership here.

Plus, if you purchase now you will receive an additional e-voucher, up to the value of $40!

Don’t forget 20% of each membership sold comes back to the School to support our fundraising efforts; a big win for everyone. A big thank you to Nadia Seifen for coordinating this opportunity for our community.

2023 Centenary Fair kick-off meeting

The PFA is in the early stages of planning for the celebratory Centenary Fair next year and are calling for volunteers to help make this a once in a 100-year celebration!

We will need an army of volunteers to help pull together this wonderful community event and will be hosting the first kick-off meeting from 7.30 to 8.30pm on Thursday 23 June in the Multi-purpose room in the Sport Centre.

We invite all members of our Kilvington community to come along and be involved in any way possible.

There will be a huge range of tasks and responsibilities available to suit everyone. So, grab your mates and come along to hear what we have planned, contribute your ideas and expertise on things we have done in the past, or suggest new ideas for the future.

If you can’t make it, but have thoughts to share, or any questions, please contact Nadine Power via npower1616@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you all.
