Mamma Mia rocked the aisles!

After Mamma Mia's final performance, Renae Bekas took to backstage and quizzed some of our cast members on their thoughts and feelings about the production.

Here's what they had to say:

Noah Emons [Bill Austin]: For my first performance ever, I was immediately blown away by how much fun and energy the audience brought to the performances; taking a great show and turning it into a fantastic experience for all of us.

Maya Wimalasundera [Lisa]: Mamma Mia was my first Kilvington production and I was delighted that it was so enjoyable! Our amazing cast and directors made the show such a lovely experience and I hope I can continue participating in productions for many years to come!

Agrata Sharma [Sophie Sheridan]: I absolutely loved meeting new people in other year levels and working with them to bring this show together. We’ve all made so many memories in the process and it was so fun to see all the hard work on stage.

Elena Stuckey de la Banda [Tanya]: For my last Kilvington production, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The astonishing amount of collaboration and teamwork driving this show has truly made it such a wonderful learning experience. It was a perfect way to say goodbye.

David Overton [Harry Bright]: Faced with innumerable challenges, the cast showed the truest of Kilvington spirit to deliver a show above and beyond all our expectations. A true gift of the power of musical theatre.

Jack Campbell-Manley [Sky]: It was such a great experience to work with this amazing cast. I can’t believe it’s over already. I am going to remember Ms Kosky’s amazing directing of the show, her enthusiasm and her energy.

Zaija Du Preez [Rosie]: Seeing the smiles on all the faces in the audience during "Dancing Queen" and "Waterloo" was a feeling I cannot describe. It was truly special. We managed to come together to create an amazing production.

Elijah Slavinskis [Sam Carmichael]: The happiness and excitement during the performances was the ultimate in an incredible experience! I’ll miss all the cast so much!

Millie Shanks [Stage Manager]: Being able to stage-manage this production was challenging but also very rewarding! It was very satisfying to see everything come together to create this great show.

Joanna Mistaris [Ali]: This production was a truly incredible experience and I have made so many wonderful memories. I have appreciated every moment and with everyone’s hard work we were able to bring together a brilliant show!

Diya James [chorus]: Mamma Mia was an experience I will never forget. We were all one big team and jumped the hurdles together. When the big nights came, we poured our souls into it and had the time of our lives! The involvement of the audience at the end was an amazing surprise, and to see all of our loved ones laughing, singing and cheering made all of those long, hard days and nights worth it.

Renae Bekas [Donna Sheridan]: Mamma Mia was not only an incredibly uplifting and rewarding experience for all of the cast and crew, but one that taught us all countless new performance skills. We’re so excited to use this knowledge in all of the shows to come!
